My name is Daniel Harry Schreiber and I am an (aspiring) chocolate maker. I use this blog to document my progress and share with people the process by which chocolate can be made at home. My purpose is to make world class artisanal chocolate; right now I am exploring, experimenting and growing.

A Brief History of Time:
Chocolate making at home is a capital intensive activity…especially with inflation these days! So on June 15th, 2009, I set up a project on the website kickstarter and though it was tough, I raised $1,050—enough to start. I encourage you to set up your own projects on this fascinating website… and maybe donate to some others as well! I’ve since spent way more than that buying beans, equipment, ingredients and so forth, but one day soon, I will break even!
